Projet CellularAutomata :: CellularAutomata project

Welcome to the home of CellularAutomata project.

This project aims to create an evolutive encyclopedia of Cellular Automata. We are not interested to collect space-time diagrams (which can be beautiful in an office), but we want a collection of examples in order to illustrate mathematical and informatic properties. Yet there exist a lot of example but few have proved properties. The purpose of this site is to make an inventory but it can also become a place where people collaborate to find new rules to illustrate more and more properties.

Since this website is creating, it is no structured yet, so feel free to add new pages where you want. You can add new cellular automata, ask for new one satisfying certain properties, find new properties to an existing cellular automata, simply add a comment, a new proof, a picture... Whatever you want!
